Ebay item 10/16/07
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-1967-Jaguar-XKE-E-Type-Series-I-Roadst ...
Opening bid $8,000, no reserve 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar XKE Series I Roadster. This XKE was purchased by my father in 1982 in hopes of full restoration. Unfortunately, it has sat in a storage unit for the majority of those years. This engine of this car was fully restored prior to storage, and in fact this car was driven into the storage unit prior to sitting there. I can even remember seeing this vehicle driven around and parked in our garage waiting for the rest of the restoration to be completed. In addition, the body was worked on in terms of being sanded smooth, but was not primed prior to storage.

Here are some of the Identification numbers:
Car No. 1E13693
Body No. 4E5416
Engine Box No. 7E10650-9
Gear Box No. EJ10897

This XKE has not been started or driven since it was stored. I do not know of its current functional state as I am not a mechanic in any way. This XKE will need to be picked up from GRAND BLANC, Michigan (48439).

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
