I've owned my Jaguar for about 25 years, having bought it in Short Hills, NJ at a shop called Curtis and Scotties. They were selling it for the owner who was a banker who has been posted overseas. Several years ago my wife and I agreed to get the car "restored" and it went to a well known shop in PA where the motor and front suspension were rebuilt and the cars body was fixed where needed and then repainted. A new top was installed and some interior pieces were replaced. We like to tour with our car.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
