Ebay item 7/17/18
www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Jaguar-E-Type-Series-I/192600783326
Opening bid US $65,000, no reserve, no bids 9 days left in auction, seller hilltop6955, 40k miles.

Seller's description:
Hilltop Auto Stock # 279 is a 1967 Series I 4.2 liter E-type open two seater. This car is very, very dry - we don't see any rust. The body is in great shape for a 51 year old car. The original floors, inner and outer sills are still on the car and they are mint. The car is 100% complete except for the usual jack and tools are missing. You can see in the photos of the boot that the original color was possibly Cream. We are applying for a Jaguar Heritage Certificate and will post a scan of it with the photos when it arrives. The original engine was lost at some point in it's life and the engine in the car is a 1967 4.2 E-type engine and is close in number to the original one. There is a fiberglass bonnet fitted on the car. You are getting a lot of car here the for the price we are asking.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
