A great vehicle for restoration and a very collectible XKE, this is a Colorado car that has been off the road and in storage since 1995.

Restoration Project
Our covered headlight E-type also features toggle switches, and a spare wheel with tire.
Mechanical
Engine block is in car with all the components off the engine, crank and pistons out. Engine block is a Series II, the head is the original 4.2 with matching #s.
Body & Interior
Series II seats have been installed. Surface rust and some dents on bonnet. Right wheel well area has some rust.

We purchased the car from a dealer in mid-2003
Our client purchased the car from us in February 2004. $60,000
He commissioned us to do a full Show/Driver level restoration with a stock appearance and some performance upgrades.
There were $60,000 in labor costs, $40,000 in parts cost, and $20,000 spent for miscellaneous items for a total of a $120,000 build.
The numbers on the car when we got it were:

Gearbox # EJ10320
Engine #7E999-9
We installed a wood steering wheel, a wooden gear shift knob, and blue lap belts
It had a larger core radiator, electric shrouded fan, high performance cam, wider wheels, radial tires and koni's
The car have only 1,300 miles since the restoration
