Current bid $15,101 reserve not met, 2 bids, 6 days left in auction. Buy it now price $30,000.

Sellers description:
Beautiful 1967 XKE Coupe that I got from the original owner in 1986. It had 53,000 miles on it when I purchased it. It now has 55,000 miles. The engine is the gold head high compression. It was all rebuilt after I bought it. The brakes were all redone, clutch, pressure plate and anything that needed attention was done. The interior was redone with Bartlett leather. The sun visors and partial trunk floor were not finished, minor job I just never got to them. I do have the material for them. I bought new wire wheels, knock off caps and new tires about 5 years ago and since have put about 100 miles on the car. The car is rust free except for a couple of small bubbles on the bottom of the drivers door, they are hardly noticeable and have been there over 15 years and not changed. The original color was green but I just didn't care for it so I had it repainted black. All of this work was done after I bought the car. The heater and radio are out of the car and I do have them but just never put them back on. I also have a new dash pad and a few extra parts that are pictured. This car looks absolutely beautiful and the paint still looks great. There are a couple of scratches and dings but nothing major at all. I have not used this car for the last 5 years so I have reluctantly decided to sell it. I feel this car is worth $ 40,000 but I am willing to sell it for way less.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
