This 1967 Jaguar XKE Coupe was sold new in California to a Mr. Rowlands who sold the car to its second long-term owner in 1970. The second owner, Mr. Krumm, kept the car until his death in 2017 when the selling dealer acquired it. Power is provided by the original 4.2L inline-six with triple SU carburetors, which is paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The car has been repainted in its original beige and features a tan leather interior. The history file includes registration cards back to new and the original warranty card. This XKE is offered by the selling dealer with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, tool roll and a clean Colorado title.

The seller has examined the car with a paint meter, and determined that the exterior has been repainted once in the original beige. Underhood surfaces and the door jambs are said to retain original paint. Produced in the latter half of 1967, this XKE is a Series 1/1.25 with open headlights and amber turn signals.

Tubular bumper overriders are present front and rear, and the wire wheels are fitted with a matched set of narrow whitewall tires. The exhaust includes four straight-cut pipes hung low in the rear. An aftermarket sunroof is visible.

The cabin is trimmed in tan leather with matching carpets. A leather cover is wrapped around the wood-rimmed steering wheel. Instrumentation includes a 160 mph speedometer and a 5,000 rpm tachometer. Toggle switches on the dash control lights and interior functions, along with the pushbutton starter. 93k miles are shown.

The floors are pictured with the mats removed, showing the condition of the recessed floor panels.

The cargo area is pictured with and without the spare tire cover, and the spare tire well is photographed with the wheel removed. The tool roll and jack are included. Wear is visible on the side panels in the cargo area.

The original 4.2L XK inline-six is fed by a trio of SU carburetors, and is paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. An aluminum radiator is fitted. The last service was an oil and filter change performed in 2016, and older service records are limited to inspection reports. Per the seller the car shows good oil pressure.

The engine is confirmed as original by the attached Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate.

The exhaust is partially wrapped in thermal wrapping. Photos of the underside are provided, and document the condition of the floors, sills and suspension components.

Registration cards are available since 1968 in California and Colorado, and document Mr. Rowland's ownership through 1970 and Mr. Krum's through 2017.

The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate shows that the car was originally distributed by Jaguar Cars of New York, and was dispatched to the first owner in July 1967. The original colors and configuration are confirmed by the certificate.

Car has a buy it now price of $62,500 for 20 days, seller faunlimited1, 94k miles, car now said to be in Princeton, Texas.

    Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar XKE Series 1.25, numbers matching one owner since 1970!

This XKE was purchased new in California At Bulevard Buick of Long Beach CA by Mr.David Rowlands. Mr.Rowlands then sold it in 1970 to Mr.Krumm of Aspen Colorado, Mr.Krumm recently passed away sadly, and this is when we acquired this magnificent vehicle. The dry Aspen CO mountain air has kept the underside of this car amazingly rust free. Mr.Krumm garaged this car on days of inclement weather and took great care of it. So much so that he kept every single registration record from 1970 until 2017.

The car is presented in its original colors of Beige over Tan interior as reflected on the heritage certificate.
The car has its original paint in the door jambs, and the exterior has been repainted.
The interior is largely original with the exception of the seat bottoms which have been replaced.

The engine is numbers matching, both the head and the block.
It has an upgraded aluminum radiator and electric fan.

The full tool kit is included, spare tire, Original owners manual with warranty book, knockoff hammer, jack and all registration cards from Mr.Rowlands ownership, and Mr.Krumms ownership.

The car runs and drives great, and is tight at freeway speeds.

This is a rare opportunity to purchase an extremely honest XKE that presents well as a driver.

For sale by GALLERY AALDERING in Netherlands for 89,500€ (some months ago, it was listed for 99,500 and then for 96.500 by the same seller)

    www.gallery-aaldering.com/collection/jaguar-e-type-4-2-series-1-superb-original- ...

A superbly original Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Series 1 Coupe. This car was supplied to its first owner in Long Beach, California on the 6th 1968. We have acquired it from its second owner, who bought the car in 1970 and kept it for nearly 50 years! This E-Type is in superb original and nearly unaltered state. It also has been extremely well documented from day 1. It has the original car-wallet containing the guarantee certificate, first registration documents and the owner’s manuals. The lovely original bodywork is sound. In the past it was re-sprayed in the authentic colour. The almost fully authentic interior trim has a nice patina. This Jaguar is pretty much as it came out the factory with its original, matching numbers, 4.2 engine and finished in beige with a tan leather interior. It naturally comes with a Jaguar Heritage certificate as well as its original guarantee certificate confirming every single parts number. These days an original unrestored E-Type is more difficult to find than a restored example. Let’s face it; a car is only an original once!
