Sellers description:
Matching Numbers1968 Jaguar, This Car has less than 40,000 miles and was on display for many years and has always been inside out of the weather. I have complete documentation on the previous owners and also photographs of engine disassembly and overhaul when the car only had 36,000 miles on it. this was due to setting in a showroom and not being driven. I have recently replaced the brake servo unit and had the brakes brought back up to speed they are in first class condition. The rubber around the windshield and door seals has been replaced and the door panels are newly recovered. the seats, overhead and rear deck area are original to the car. the fuel tank was removed cleaned and coated to prevent any rust from building up and a new fuel pump and new sending unit installed. the carbs have been cleaned and new gaskets installed It cranks and runs great with no issues. New tires installed last week and I still have the redline tires that I took off the car dated 1972 if you would like them. The car comes with original spare tire and wheel, The jack and hammer are still in the packages provided. The car is from Colorada and spent over 20 years in Texas with one owner before coming south. there are no rust issues and the car has all the original heat shields etc. that it is supposed to have. All in All this is a very nice car it has been well taken care of and will not dissappoint anyone that wants a Jag to drive and enjoy if you are looking for a trailer Queen or Museum piece then pay the 100K this car at half the price is still a better car.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
