Sellers description:
1968 Jaguar XKE Series 1 1/2
We are selling the estate of a Gentleman who lived in the dry desert-like Southern Oregon Rogue Valley. He had a love of old clocks, radios, and cars. This is one of several collector vehicles we will be auctioning. This XKE Series 1 & 1/2 is in pretty good condition for it's age. It shows 53492 on the odometer, but I imagine it is 153492. It appears to be all original, a perfect candidate for restoration! The brake master cylinder was just replaced last week and the system flushed and checked. This vehicle runs like the engine was very well taken care of. The carbs were adjusted during the brake repair. The overall condition of this vehicle's exterior is average and has some blemishes and defects. This vehicle's interior shows the average amount of wear and tear. The wire wheels have whitewall tires that have some wear but still have miles left on them.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
