This 1967 Jaguar XKE is a Series I 2+2 example that was completed on January 19, 1967 and distributed to the US through Jaguar Cars of New York. The car was repainted metallic blue during a refurbishment in 2017 by Monocoque Metalworks of Elkton, Maryland. Power is provided by a numbers-matching 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes dark blue leather upholstery, a digital AM/FM radio, replacement glass headlight covers, four-wheel disc brakes with inboard-mounted rears, and chrome 15” knock-off wire wheels. This XKE is being offered by the selling dealer with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate and a Pennsylvania title.

This example was factory finished in Opalescent Silver Grey (701) and was repainted its current shade of metallic blue during the aforementioned refurbishment.

Polished 15” wire wheels are secured by two-eared knock-off spinners and mounted with 185-width Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rears. A full-size spare is found in the rear storage area.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in dark blue leather with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets protected by Jaguar-branded rubber floor mats. A digital AM/FM radio has been added.

A wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 9k miles, though total mileage is unknown.

The 4.2-liter inline-six features triple SU carburetors and sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The selling dealer notes a recent oil change.

Engine block stamping 7E 52707-9 matches the number stamped on the cylinder head as well as that listed on the Heritage Trust certificate.

The included Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate shows a build date of January 19, 1967 and lists the factory colors and identification numbers.
