Ebay item 4/20/18
www.ebay.com/itm/1966-Jaguar-E-Type/282932181756
Current bid: $5,100 reserve not met 2 bids 9 days left in auction, seller mystuff23, 23k miles.
Sellers description:
Up for sale is another great Jaguar I have. It is a 1966 2+2 with an automatic transmission and 23,481 miles as shown. This was part of a large Jaguar collection that I am closing out. The last owner bought this about 1973 with light front end damage on the nose, so the nose was replaced with one from a black car. The car has mostly sat in the garage for the whole time he had it. It has not been started in about 10 years. The overall condition on this one is pretty great considering how bad they rust. Info on ID tag-Serial # 1E77277BW , Engine # 7E53116-9 , Body # 4E53106 , Auto trans # EJ15705. --BODY CONDITION-- Amazing for age ! , no rust thru holes, panels are pretty straight , floors are great ! rear pans are good as well as rockers, rear hatch is out of adjustment, car presents very well,no brakes, - -INTERIOR--once again as the pictures show its held up well , the seats are nice, the dash has some cracks, Switch panel is very nice. The wood steering wheel is beautiful. Rear seat folds forward. - ENGINE--The engine does not run, it turns over good but has no spark, I have not messed with it at all as I am not a Jag expert, the original engine has been replaced with a 1965 engine , Serial # 7E2644-9, the head matches the block # by the oil filter. It is date coded Dec 18-1964 N . --TRANSMISSION--the trans lever is stuck in neutral and does not move, I don't know why but the car rolls good. This was a car with A/C, the parts have been removed and all of the parts I have are included. The heater fan box has also been removed but included. Please look at the last photos to see all of the spare parts included, Both headlight trim rings are there but only passenger glass is there. I am not sure what is missing but I don't think to much from all the parts I found for the car, even the jack is there. I know I wrote a lot but please read carefully and look at photos as I want you to understand the condition of this great car that deserves a proper restoration!! Or fix and drive as is. Why buy a rusty car when this one is so good !! Car is sold with a Notarized CONN bill of sale. CT does not give titles on old cars. It is not registered now. The car is located in Southington CT, 06489 - Sold AS IS with no Guarantee

CAR NOW IN THE UK, RUNNING AND DRIVING, READY FOR A NEW OWNER FROM FAYREOAK.COM

Imported into the United Kingdom from the United States and registered AHJ813E in December 2019. Sold by Fayreoak Classics of Cheltenham in March 2020. Amended seller's description below.
www.fayreoak.com/autos/1966-jaguar-e-type-series-one-2/
Series 1 Jaguar E Type 4.2 Auto 2+2 built on 10th March 1967. UK registration AHJ813E. 23,000 miles. Original Dark Blue with Dark Blue trim. Rust free, use as is or easy restoration. William Pieffenberger 3rd purchased this car in 1972 from the original owner. He put it in his collection of over 15 Jaguars, where it sat until his death in 2018. Purchased as a non running car by Stu Simsbury who got the car running. He rebuilt the gearbox, installed a new brake system, overhauled the callipers, replaced the wheels and tyres, fitted a new exhaust system.
The car mileage is believed to be correct at 23,000 miles and considering its long lay up this could be correct, looking at the underside I would not doubt it. The car is fitted with a rare 1961 E Type steering wheel. Before 1972 the car had a new engine fitted from a 1966 E Type. The underside is very nice and rust free. The last owner intended to repaint the car, the paint was stripped from the bonnet and it was primed. He never went further but it would be easy to finish and paint in its original colour of Dark Blue.
The interior is very original with just the driver's seat showing cracking and a need to make a few trim repairs. The engine has good oil pressure and seems to run and drive. A running, driving, solid low mileage E Type.
