1967 Jaguar E-Type 2+2 Coupe, A great example of a 2+2. This is a very late Series 1 or very early Series 1 1/2. It has triple carbs, toggle switches, small side lamps, all of the features of a Series 1 except it has open headlamps. The transmission is automatic and shifts seamlessly on all occasions. Mileage is believed accurate. I have owned the car about 15 years after buying it from a collector in Texas. As such there is very little rust - look at the picture of the spare tire well, a notorious E-Type rust spot, but very clean on this car. I have used the car only summers and it is garaged all winter. It is not driven in the rain. The engine starts and runs very well, and the car drives nicely. It recently had an alignment and two new front tires. Also, installed new engine mounts, ball joints all around, brake components, fuel pump, plugs, wires, distributor cap etc. Shocks are Spax gas. The body condition is very good overall but there has been some repair work near the rear hatch window, on the passenger side, see my picture. The interior of the car is excellent, in biscuit color. Comes with a form fitting California car cover. Numbers are also matching:
