Ebay item 3/5/06
www.oldworldmotorcars.com/home.html) of Atlanta performed all work and regular services until Huntsville Jaguar dealership. 9 quarts of racing oil and chassis/suspension lubrication every 5 months regardless of miles. Paid Old World $100 a month to keep and maintain the car each time I deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan instead of letting it sit.

Mechanically superb and sorted with an 8+ out of 10 aesthetically. (Several small rock chips in overall very glossy red paint) Incredible acceleration, braking and handling; I would drive it anywhere without hesitation. Mileage on odometer is original. Driven regularly since I've owned but have put only about 4000 miles on it due to my extended time in the Middle East. Hate to sell, but no where to store in Huntsville upon my next deployment and all my work on it would be lost if it just sat while I was gone.

1969 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Roadster

Finished in British Racing Green with Black upholstery and a Black mohair hood, this striking Roadster was dispatched from Browns Lane in August 1969 to British Leyland, New York. Imported back into the UK last year ‘RCD 652G’ has recently benefited from a repaint in its original shade of BRG, converted to RHD and fitted with numerous new chrome parts. Displaying a credible 49,900 miles and upgraded with triple SU carburettors and tubular exhaust manifolds this smart looking E-Type is offered with heritage certificate plus current V5c and is surly worthy of closer inspection.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
