Current bid $3,550.00 (Reserve not met), 13 bids, 5 days left in auction. 64k miles.

Sellers description:
This Cat was solid to start with except floor pans needed to be replaced. This is a matching numbers roadster. Car #1R11510--Eng. #7R9006-9--- Trans#KE102-55 Following is a list of the items done to this car.

Floors pans replaced- drivers side rocker panel (because of rust damage in battery area)

Front end completely rebuilt new ball-joints, tie rod ends, bearings, rotors, rebuilt slave cyl., new brake hoses, shocks

Rear end - removed-examined -shocks, springs ,rotors , brake pads replaced, slave cyl.-rebuilt

Engine compartment painted and detailed, interior "tub" painted , underside of car painted ,all with Sikkens paint. Car was primrose yellow now it is Old English White. The main part of the body was chemically striped to bare metal primed and painted several coats. The nose still needs to be striped and painted as well as painting exterior of car.

The engine "has Not" been rebuilt. I cannot verify the milage ,but this is a local car and I know owners back to 1987 and believe the milage to be correct .

I bought the car as advertised on E-bay in August 2005 and shipped it back to NL. It has had a bare metal respray to it's original colour (pale promrose) and I am currently rebuilding it mechanically, restoring where necessary.

Restoration was finally completed in May of 2011, in time for the E50 celebrations in England and Belgium. A couple of teething problems but nothing insurmountable and pure joy to drive!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
