CARSFROMFLORIDA is excited to announce that we have just acquired another incredible example of one of the most beautiful automobiles ever produced, the Series II E-Type Jaguar Roadster!

Words cannot do justice to the amazing condition of this highly coveted classic Jag. One of the finest concours restorations we have ever laid eyes on, not one nut or bold was left un-attended to, it truly must be seen in person to fully appreciate how nicely done this wonderful old car is.

We received with the vehicle a book of the complete ownership history of this car including all it's previous owners, reciepts for work done, services, parts, registrations, and photos of the restoration process. We believe this to be an original 50k mile car, and the mileage showing on the odometer to be correct. The car originally from Minnesota was used during the summer months by it's previous owners up through 1994, then completely restored and placed in a museum until we aquired her.

Finished in the most sought after color combination of Red over Black leather interior, with a black cabriolet top, this Jag is a show piece all the way! The body is rust free, dent free, laser straight, and flawlessly refinished in its original Red paint color. The gorgeous original chrome Dayton knock-off wire wheels look literally brand new and are wearing new Michelin Red-Line rubber. Inside everywhere you look and touch is just new, nothing is missing, every piece correct, and there is zero wear whatsoever. The original steering wheel is one of the nicest we have ever seen and there is a custom wood Jaguar shift knob to match. All of the controls, guages, and switchgear function properly, the original radio is present and works, and the seats are redone in real Connolly Leather!

Under the bonnet the concours condition continues. The excellent running original 4.2L six is detailed to show winning specification. The carbs and intake manifold are polished to a high shine, the cam covers are perfect, the right plug wires are present, the exhaust manifold shroud is polished, and the underside of the bonnet is as nice as the top.

The drive in this car is just as wonderful as it's looks. The engine starts effortlessly and comes to idle very quickly, the clutch feels perfect and she shifts into gear flawlessly. Down the road she goes without a care in the world as this is easily as much driving fun as you can have with your clothes on. The double overhead cam 4.2L engine purrs like a kitten and pulls as strong as day one. The steering, handling, and braking are all excellent and the car literally still inspires confidence when driving hard and begs for more.

This is a museum quality E-Type that will interest even the most discriminating collector. I would say for this vintage that this is possibly one of the finest you will ever lay eyes on. There will be no disappointments with this series-II XKE, so buy with confidence!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
