Estimate: £25,000 - 30,000

This 1968 Jaguar E‑type 4.2 Coupe is being sold for recommissioning or restoration. Built in September 1968 (according to its Jaguar Heritage Trust production record trace certificate), the Signal Red car with black interior was dispatched to the USA in October of that year. It returned to the UK in 2014, but has been dry‑stored since then, albeit UK‑registered. The car is running, but its clutch is stuck, so it can't currently be driven. We are told by the vendor that the car is 'matching numbers'. The odometer shows 00921 miles.
The paperwork file includes the V5C, Jaguar Heritage Trust production record trace certificate, documentation relating to its NOVA and British registration, and some Californian registration and insurance documents from its past life in the USA. There's also the original chassis plate for the Jaguar.
