This 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II coupe is a non-running project that was acquired by the seller in 2019. The car is finished in silver over black leather upholstery and is equipped with a 4.2-liter inline-six and a four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes wire wheels, Vredestein Sprint Classic tires, a louvered hood, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a cassette stereo, and aftermarket speakers. The front suspension is said to have been loosely reassembled during current ownership. This XKE project is offered with uninstalled hardware, spare parts, and a clean Wisconsin title in the name of the seller and their spouse.
The car is finished in silver and details include a louvered hood, a left side mirror, and chrome bumpers with overriders. Dents and scratches are visible throughout the body along with rust on the doors and pitting on the bumpers. Imperfections can be seen on the underside of the front valance and letters are missing from the rear badge.
The 15″ wire wheels are secured by two-eared knockoff spinners and are mounted with Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The car is equipped with disc brakes at all four corners. The seller states that the front end was loosely reassembled under current ownership.
The bucket seats are upholstered in black leather and show wear. Appointments include a wooden shift knob, a cassette stereo, and aftermarket speakers. Rust is visible on the floors and in the trunk.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 44k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 4.2-liter inline-six is fitted with dual SU carburetors. The seller states the engine turns but does not run. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Rust is visible in the engine bay.
The engine stamping is shown above and matches the engine number on the chassis tag.
Rust is visible on underbody components.
Uninstalled parts and spare hardware are included in the sale.
