Now in the UK and for sale on eBay
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-FHC-LHD-/261489254386
This 1969 Jaguar E-type 4.2 LHD FHC comes direct from Florida where it has been stored for we think the past 30 plus years.
It requires total restoration however in saying that the only major rust seems to be in the usual places, floor, boot area and battery box, plus there is rust showing in the top corners of the screen. The bonnet, wings, doors and tailgate show little rust and an inspection of the wheel arches appeared sound. Door and bonnet gaps look good and the doors close nicely. The interior has rotted but is all there, all the rubbers have perished and bubbled up, the rear screen is missing as is the spare wheel and there are no keys. You can also see from one of the pictures that the floor wells have been cut out.
Found while on an extended stay in Florida and sold to me by a person who seeks out this type of vehicle. It's reportedly a one owner car with 17400 recorded miles which can be verified in part by way of a Florida Highway Patrol Inspection in 1976 when the mileage was 14991.
The US title certificate and HMRC conformation that import taxes have been paid are here with me but the car has not been registered.
I strongly urge any potential bidder to come and inspect the car and make their own assessment. It's here to be sold as I have only one garage space and that's occupied. The car is located in Deal Kent about 8 miles from Dover.
