Car offered at:

motorcartrader.com/vehicle/jaguar-e-type-barn-find/

We are excited to offer this 1970 Jaguar E-type Series 2 Hoed head Coupe 'Barn find." The Jaguar presented here was built on February 16 of 1970 and dispatched on March 12 of 1970. This Jaguar has been in storage for nearly 30 years and was last registered in 1995. This E-type is in the original color combination of Sable with Cinnamon interior The paint looks to be mostly original as does the interior. We bought this car from the family whose ownership went back to the early 1980s and spending all those years in North Carolina (not near the coast). To further elaborate on this wonderful car and its history:

• It is offered with the rare factory options of both air conditioning and power steering. • The original NC compressor is missing, but will include one with the sale of the car. • Very much a complete car and very solid throughout. • This is not a rusted out project, but does need work as it does not run, drive or have brakes. • The paint looks to be mostly original with patina. • The motor does turn. • The odometer reading is 78,032 original miles. • This is wonderful project for an Jaguar E-type enthusiast $42,000.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
