Car currently listed on EBay: cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll Description Item Specifics Jaguar : E TYPE E Type 1970 Jaguar Project car/parts Miles: 48000 Doors: 2 doors Transmission: Manual Interior: Black Engine: 6 - Cyl. Year: 1970 Exterior: Burgundy/Maroon E Type 1970 Jaguar Project car/parts The car belongs to my neighbor who bought it (he is the second owner) about 20 years ago thinking he would both enjoy and restore it but, the restore part never happened..... The original owner parked it in 1974 with about 30K miles on it and it sat until 1984. My neighbor drove it off and on for years and it now has about 48 K miles on it. Spent it's life in indoor storage until about 5 years ago and has since sat outside. It is a 1970 E Type Series II with the 4.6 6 cylendar engine with dual carbs and 4-speed manual transmission. The engine turns freely and would start with about an hours work to the fuel lines/filter. A new stainless exhaust system was installed in 1989. The tires are junk and two of them are flat. The brakes are stuck from sitting. The frame is solid but the floors are rusted. A collection of new parts go with the car (over $2K at 15 year old prices) Including: 2 rear quarter panels, 2 Rocker panels, the attachment pieces for the rockers, Complete carpets and under-carpet pad set, set of headlight rims/rings, complete body weather gasket/seal set, choke cable, set of amber side marker lights, and the cat emblem for the fornt bumper. If you are looking for a way to join in on the Hot Rod/Rat Rod/Custom/Kustom/Flathead/Classic/sporty car Car hobby, ....this may be the car for you! THE CAR IS LOCATED IN Maynard, MA. With 6 days 5 hours left on the auction there have been 6 bids to bring the price to US $3,827.00 (Reserve not met)
