This 1969 Jaguar XKE 2+2 was purchased by the seller in 2016, and it is finished in green over black leather. Additional features include air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, console speakers, knock-off wire wheels, and a dual exhaust system. Power is supplied by a 4.2-liter inline-six mated to a three-speed automatic transmission, and the seller reportedly had the dual Stromberg carburetors serviced in summer 2020. This Mk II E-Type four-seater is now offered with a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in British Racing Green, and the seller notes that the paint exhibits areas of cracking, crazing, scratches, and peeling. Series II updates to the XKE included a revised headlight design as well as horizontal taillights that sit below a wrap-around rear bumper. Additional exterior features include chrome trim and door guards, chrome front and rear bumperettes, dual exhaust exits, and a side-hinged rear hatch.
Chrome-finished 15″ wire wheels with knock-off hubs are wrapped in 185/65 Firestone all-season tires that were reportedly installed in Spring 2020.
The interior is upholstered in black leather with a matching black dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include air conditioning and an AM/FM radio. Speaker enclosures are fitted on either side of the center stack.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline, and center-mounted auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows just under 53k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership.
The 4.2-liter inline-six is equipped with dual Stromberg carburetors, which are said to have been serviced and adjusted in summer 2020.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. The seller notes areas of corrosion on the exhaust components.

Ebay item 11/20/21
Current bid: $25,655 reserve not met 17 bids 9 days left in auction, seller motoexotica, no in Fenton, Missouri, 52k miles.
Seller's description:
Made in Coventry, England, this example is one of 5,326 2+2 models manufactured between 1968 and 1971. The exterior, done in British Racing Green, is at best in good, original order but there are places of orange peel and cracking on the hood and in other places, please see photos. The Jaguar body is straight, the chrome wraparound bumpers fit tightly to the body and or in good, overall shape. In the Jag’s cozy cockpit, the original black Connolly leather is in satisfactory original shape, as is the corresponding Wilton wool carpet. The headliner is also black. A three-spoke steering wheel with a wood rim, along with the inner door panels and instrument panel and floor-mounted gearshift are all in the same good, original order but the horn is inoperable. The instrument panel has a distinctive aircraft appearance, with toggle switches and flat black paint. A factory AM/FM stereo completes the interior.
