Ebay item 8/13/18
www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Jaguar-E-Type/323394224914
Opening bid US $1,000 reserve not met no bids 6 days left in auction, buy it now price $22,500, seller playajw, 123k miles, car now said to be in Lockridge, Iowa.
Seller's description:
1969 Jaguar E-type 2+2 with factory AC and automatic transmission. As you can see from the pictures this car has had restoration started on it, however the car is complete as I have all original chrome, headlights, trim, bumpers etc. and they all come with the car. Also interior parts, door panels etc. all removed from the car when we started the resto. We have owned the car since 2002 and we had the car was running as the twin side-draft carbs were rebuilt. However, the car has a cracked header and the exhaust was removed when it was trailered last so we haven't had it running for a while. Additionally, there was a small transmission leak which we were investigating as the transmission was over-filled. Likely the seal is worn and would need to be replaced.
The seat upholstery was previously re-done and is still in good condition.
In addition to the other parts, I do have additional knock-off wire rims that will be included with the vehicle. Also some other odds and ends like an additional manifold.
It will need to be trailered away and buyer takes responsibility for arranging pick up and shipping. If you select the Buy It Now price we will throw in a new set of chrome bumpers and trim that was purchased previously for the car and is still wrapped and in packaging. Also an Amco bar would be included.
This is a beautiful car that is very restorable.
