This is a 1969 Jaguar E-Type Convertible. It is green with a tan interior and top. It has a 4.2L six cylinder motor with a four speed transmission. This beautiful 1969 Jaguar E-Type Series II Roadster is finished in British Racing Green over Biscuit leather interior and has just come out of a long term club member ownership. Finished in its correct colors of British Racing Green over Biscuit this E-Type has been properly maintained and cared for its entire life. The paint work shows very well and has seen one repaint in its life. There is some minor checking on the cowl right underneath the windshield and some small stone chips on the front nose. The paint still retains a beautiful shine and deep luster with very few imperfections found in the actual paint. All of the bright work and trim are in excellent condition showing very light age but free from any damage or heavy pitting. Even the wire wheels show very nicely and are free from any damage or pitting. The interior is in outstanding condition showing very little wear on the seats or on the carpets. The dash is beautiful and the center console is damage free and all of the switchgear is in excellent condition. The convertible top is very nice with only a one inch hairline tear on the passenger side and finished in the correct material. The convertible boot is present with the car and fits well on the top and is free from any damage or wear. The 6 cylinder engine is a matching numbers engine and runs beautifully. All of the carbs have been rebuilt and all of the plugs and wires were just recently done along with all of the fluids. The engine starts right up and idles beautifully. The engine revs smoothly and shifts through all of the gears smoothly without any issues. The transmission is free from any issues or noises and shifts into all of the gears with ease. The clutch feels strong and does not slip and the gears do not grind. The brakes feel excellent and have just had a recent master cylinder put in. The steering is nice and tight and free from any play or vibrations. The tires have excellent tread on them and show no signs of cracking or age. The car ride smoothly and free from any shakes or vibrations. All of the electronics are working in the car including all of the dash lights, interior lights, headlights, side marker lights, brake lights, turn signals and reverse lights. There is no rust of any kind found on or under the car. The undercarriage is very nice and clean and does not show any signs of accident or damage history. The car comes with some service history from the previous owner and the original operating maintenance book. The original spare tire is found in the trunk and the original keys are present with the car. This is an excellent E-Type finished in traditional colors and matching numbers covering a believed 37,800 miles from new.
