*The ultimate soft-top E-Type
*Present ownership since 1994
*Four owners from new
*Bare metal cosmetic restoration completed in 2018

First registered on 12th January 1973, this Series 3 roadster has belonged to the current owner since 1994 having had only three former keepers. Taken off the road in 2014, the car has since undergone extensive cosmetic restoration that was completed in 2018, though there are no bills available. It benefits from a bare-metal re-spray and new interior trim and hood, and in all other respects is described by the private vendor as in good condition. Accompanying paperwork consists of sundry service and restoration bills, photographs of the bare 'shell prior to repaint, a V5 registration document, DVLA MoT history printout, and a quantity of MoTs for the periods 1979-1994 and 1997-2010.

Sold by Classic Connection Classic and Performance Cars of Ringwood in September 2020. Amended seller's description below.
www.classicconnection.co.uk/vehicles/jaguar-e-type-v12-roadster-1973/

E Type roadster, 1973 L registration, manual gearbox, white with a black mohair hood and red interior. A very low mileage car with a warranted 47,000 miles from new. Subject of a bare metal repaint in 2018, the paintwork is unmarked and in pristine condition throughout. The soft top and tonneau cover was also replaced and various interior trim was also done. Lovely history file including many of the MoTs and lots of bills and receipts. A stunning car in a great colour combination, highly desirable being an original matching numbers UK home market car with a manual gearbox and chrome wire wheels. Just had a full gearbox rebuild and new clutch. Supplied by us to the last owner; comes freshly serviced and with a new MoT.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
