1972 Jaguar XKE Roadster Series 3 V12 / 4-SPEED
ONE OWNER FOR THE LAST 42 YEARS
43,XXX ORIGINAL DOCUMENTED MILES
ALL ORIGINAL / UNRESTORED
CALIFORNIA CAR SINCE NEW
Beautiful unmolested 1972 Jaguar XKE Roadster with 43K original Miles. This is an amazing, unrestored, original example. The car was purchased new in Burlingame British cars inc located in Burlingame CA in 1972. The original owner lived in San Francisco and owned this jaguar for around 10 years before selling it to a gentleman in Silicon Valley sometime in the early 1980s. The second owner goes on to keep this car for the next 42 years to come. Shortly after he purchased it he put the car in his vacation home in Carmel, CA. It was parked in the garage and driven only when he was in town. Original blue CA plates and clean title available. It comes with its original owners manual, service tag, service records, books, original dealership documentation, tool bag, gold spare tire, and many old parts including the original radio. The previous owner had gotten older and stopped driving the jaguar as much. He stated that before he let it sit he would give the car a good service even if it didn't need it. He hated seeing it sit in the garage so he reached out to us and sold us this lovely car. Besides one paint job in the past this car is completely original. The body is in excellent condition with a few bruises and here and there from the years. There has been no kind of accidents, or rust in the past. The paint is old, but acceptable. It has its original V12 engine paired with the 4-speed manual transmission which in my opinion is the best combination to have for the XKE's. The motor did turn out to be frozen and will most likely need a rebuild or replacement. So it is being sold not running, AS IS. The interior is all original and in excellent condition. The original carpeting is in good shape, the seats are plush, the dash is in great condition, and the remainder is in lovely cosmetic shape. The chrome spoke rims are in great condition as well as the fairly new pirelli tires. Do not miss this opportunity to accrue an untouched, original California XKE.
