I am offering for sale this lovely E-Type V12 Roadster Automatic LHD, finished in Signal Red with Black leather. The car is an original UK car, one of the previous owners had it converted to LHD for his frequent continental use, if desired the car can be converted back to RHD at an additional cost.

The car is one of the last 150 E-type's to role off the production line and comes with lots of history and MOT's dating back to 1978.

    BODYWORK

The body is in good original condition showing no signs of panels being replaced, the floors are exceptional, the bonnet is totally rust free as are the doors and boot. The paint work is bright and tidy, it's not a concours finish but it's certainly very bright and presentable and all the same colour.

    INTERIOR

The interior on this car is very good and very original and has not been replaced with a later reproduction trim. The carpets are very good and show little signs of wear, all the door panels are perfect and the seats are very good and original. The whole inside of the car does not look new as it should'nt but looks in keeping with it's age without looking tired.

    MECHANICALLY

The car drives exactly as it should, nice and smooth with that lovely V12 surge. The engine and gearbox feel nice and tight as does the suspension, the front tyres are good and the rears are new Dunlop SP Sports to match the front ones. It comes fully serviced with a full years MOT.

    SUMMARY

This is another good unmolested example which has had paintwork but no major bodywork carried out, it drives very well, it feels as it should inside. It's not concours but it's not £40,000, It's a good usable E-type Roadster, still looks stunning and can be improved as it's being enjoyed.

Sold by Lanes Cars of Burton on Trent in January 2018. Seller's description below.
    www.lanescars.co.uk/jaguar-e-type-s3-5-3-roadster-for-sale/

This E Type S3 5.3 V12 Automatic is an original RHD roadster finished in Signal Red with Black Interior and Black Mohair Hood. The previous owner has had an SU carburettor upgrade which really improves the performance and driveability of an S3 E Type. There are numerous MoTs that accompany this vehicle's history file along with many invoices.
