My E-Type is an original Australian delivered 2+2 Coupe. It is one of 2,116 right hand drive series III V12 Coupes built. Only 114 of these cars were originally imported into Australia by Leyland, which makes it a very rare vehicle in Australia. It is not known how many of the original 114 still exist.

Hi..This is my E Type!! I was rather pleased to find it already listed...I still own the car and it is garaged in red Hill (mornington penninsula) it is again listed on ebay but with a much lower reservebids are up to $27,500 aust..not much in UK pounds!! she is rust free and I adore driving her but with two houses and huge repayments something has to give...if my house sells at auction in two weeks I will regret having sold her....my dad had a XK120 roadster in New Zealand when I was a kid which fueled my love of the XK..my uncle had two V12 coupes when i was a teenager which hooked me on them....One sexy beast of a car!!!! love it

1973 V12 E-Type Coupe
WAS $65,000
CAR IS HERE TO BE SOLD - PRICE SLASHED TO $45,000
SORRY NO OFFERS
Up for sale I have my 1973 E-Type Coupe, at $45,000 the car is priced way below similar quality E-Types.
Car is Australian delivered via Kellow-Falkiner, Melbourne, and original 1973 Vic Reg is still in place: Black Plate with LNA 939......must be one of the few cars in Australia of this era with original plates.
I have had the car now for over 2 years and it has been a joy to own. However, like most things I need to move on and the car is now on the market.
It is very original. While I have spent money on it, it has mainly been to improve what was already a very good vehicle.
I have a JDHT document showing that all numbers match and that the car is identical to the way it rolled off the production line on the 14th December 1972, then being dispatched to British Leyland, Australia on 29 January 1973.
This E-Type is an automatic, has the optional factory fitted electric rear demister and headrests, as well as the dealer fitted airconditioning which still produces freezing air in summer. These options together with the power steering fitted as standard to these cars, ensures that it is a classic that you can drive and enjoy without compromising comfort and ease of use.
18 months ago I had the car repainted as the original Signal Red paintwork had faded. At the same time all body seals and rubbers were replaced inc. wthe complete windscreen and rubber. I have intentionally not repainted the interior floor sections or any interior, as it is in great shape and totally rust free. The body itself is great condition with no sign of rust or condensation found anywhere on the car.
I also refurbished the interior as the original leather had faded, however I have not had to replace any of the leather, it is still the original perforated variety. No wear and tear just colour fade, so it was re-dyed. I replaced the all the carpets in the car, but have kept the original carpets and mats as spares for the sake of originality.
Mechanically, it is second to none. Compression is 170-175psi across all 12 cylinders. No oil leaks, runs smooth, and can be seen below, no expense has been spared. While I don't have the original books I do have all mechanical receipts from 1998 to the present. (Total spent on the car in the last 10 years comes to over $26,000)

Advertised for sale on carsales.com.au March 2014 with an asking price of AUS$69,500. Owner's description follows:
"This car is one of a 114 Jaguar Series3 auto V12 E-types imported through Leyland Australia. This one was delivered to Kellow Falkner Melbourne January 1973. Car also comes with a very cold dealer fitted A/C........... Since owning this car it has gone through a complete engine rebuild (pics will be supplied to purchaser) along with sensible upgrades, involving cooling system, ignition system, fuel system with a competition fuel pump installed feeding 4 new SU Carbies. Car has also had complete front suspension rebuild, new bushes, ball joints, shocks and springs. We have been to 2 national Jaguar rallies in this car and it has performed without fault returning 12.5 litres or 20mpg. The body is very straight with no rust or evidence of accident damage. All shut gaps are good. The car has been repainted by a previous owner. The interior is sound and everything works as it should....... Car at Otago, Tasmania, Australia."
