Sadly we know very little about the history of this car
First registered in 1971
The certificat d’immatriculation is dated 2007
Currently indicates 92,528 miles from new
In 2022 the car underwent substantial restoration by SAS Culbu, Carbu & Cie
Invoices for this work are included in the sale
The car also comes with the certificat d’immatriculation
The Condition
Repainted into period-accurate Primrose Yellow last year
Extensively rebuilt and restored with no dents or dings
We note some rough edges around the wheel arches
Some light wear to the car’s lower extremities
The car is sitting on its original wire-spokes
Full set of Vredestein tyres
Black fabric soft top
The car’s interior is in good order
Original instruments with only light signs of wear
Wood-trimmed steering wheel and gearstick
Soft sagging to the seats
Some wear to the carpets
Underneath is in good, solid order with clean suspension and exhaust
The Mechanics
4.2L Jaguar powerplant
Manual transmission
Engine rebuilt in 2022
Jaguar head is clean and proudly on display
The vendor notes that the cylinder head may need tightening in the next 1000kms
We’re also informed that the carbs still require restoration
We understand that the car is in very good working order
No leaks, knocks, bangs or smoke have been reported to us
