1962 Jaguar E-Type series 1 fixed head coupe manufactured in February 1962. Presented in rarely seen and highly unusual early 60's pearl grey with ox-blood red leather interior. Complete nut and bolt photographic restoration throughout with complete bare metal body shell restoration, interior re-trim and re-fit of all items to a beautiful original as-new standard. The car has been used very sparingly since and covered around 1500 miles since it's completion in 2007. Believed to be one of only three series 1 cars ordered in this unusual and unique colour combination before it was deleted from the E-Type options list by Jaguar early in 1962. This car was owned by the previous owner for 38 years and stored for 32 of them hence mileage reading of 36,600 is believed to be a genuine. Original buff log book present with the last owner's details entered in September 1972. A genuine RHD UK supplied and registered car with all matching numbers and all other specification details as per the JDHT Heritage Certificate which is also present. This E-Type is in truly wonderful condition with panel gaps and shut lines that are exemplary. This car has been painstakingly researched and restored to completely standard and correct specification with no upgrades whatsoever and was featured in Jaguar World Magazine in 2009 entitled "In to the Grey, Driving a Flawless Fixed head" A unique early 86023x chassis numbered FHC E-Type in truly wonderful condition for the discerning jaguar collector. Would be one of a kind in the Goodwood Revival pre 1966 car park!
