This 1962 example of the very desirable early 3800 cc 'E' type Fixed head Coupe is an original U.K. car with matching numbers and has been off the road for over 20 years leading the vendor to believe that the mileage of the car could be genuine at 57000 miles.
The car is painted in metallic Blue with the Black interior but this is not leather as when it was retrimmed back in the 1970's it was decided not to replace the leather trim. The car has had new doors, sills and rear arches and the wheels have been shotblasted and powder coated. All the rubberseal have been replaced and most of the chrome has been replaced. The underside of the car is very clean and the car has not been used out in the rain since the work was completed and there are photographs of the work done.
The car comes with its Green logbook and an M.O.T. until July next year and the registration number 6 AFY has been reapplied for and should be re-issued by Swansea.
A very desirable car in excellent condition.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
