The car was repainted red in the mid 1980s, upholstery changed to tan colour. The car achieved high results in Concourse competitions in the late 1980s. It had a successful racing career from 1992 to 1996, running at Eastern Creek, Amaroo, Lakeside, Oran Park, Phillip Island, Leyburn and the 1996 JDCA Mountain Rally,

This is the first E Type restored by Glenn Olsen, Jag E-Type Restorations P/L, in 1987-88. Further work was done by Concours Sports Car Registration in 2000.
