This car features in an article in Jaguar Driver magazine December 1993 when the then owner Paul Vidler gave a detailed history of the car including information on its competition outings at Bonneville USA for the Speed Week in the 1970s. The car was said to be dismantled in 1993 and to be refurbished.

Further to my earlier reference there is an article in Jaguar Driver magazine January 1995 saying that the car had returned to England from the USA. The then owner, Roger Collings was due to commence a complete restoration of the car.
