I just purchased this car 1/09 and believe that the red interior color and the Op SilverBlue to be original even though it would be a special order combo. I will look real hard at this when i get the car delivered. It is a low mile rust free flat floor with Welded louvers. Always wanted an early car.

This car was STOLEN from my storage location in January 2009 by a guy named William Anderson, formerly of Pacific St, Bay Shore, NY. It was purchased on ebay by milamoni. When I discovered it missing, it had already been exported to Germany (at least I think that's what the Detective told me). Milamoni, it is a 1962, not a 61. I have the Title. I believe the person who sold it on ebay (oldclassic55) did not know it was stolen. I had it repainted and it is not an original Jaguar color. I purchased it from a guy in New Jersey in 1985.

Hi Pat,

this is sad to hear. Do you have no chance to get justification somehow?

And thanks for the information. I have thought forth and back since a while as the car is not that far away (approx. 1000 km) and seems to be basically sound. And this for an early FHC isn't that bad. Now with this information the car is out of any potential race...

Good luck

Stefan

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
