Listed for sale on Craig's List in San Francisco Bay area. "1962 Jaguar XKE Series 1 FHC. I am offering for sale a very rare Jaguar XKE coupe. Matching numbers and original CA black plates. This is an early production Series1 car with flat floors and the curved rear window. It has had only one owner since new and was originally purchased in Los Angeles in 1962 where the vehicle has remained since. The vehicle has just 55k original miles. A professional frame off restoration was completed in 1985 and the vehicle was covered and stored indoors since. All service and maintenance records since new as well as all restoration documentation. Interior is in new condition. Original wire wheels with unused original spare wheel/tire. Car runs and drives as new. Everything works and functions properly. Must see to appreciate and believe. This is a very rare find and being offered at $85,000."
