    Ebay item 7/20/18
    www.ebay.com/itm/1962-Jaguar-E-Type-Series-I/192603271471
Opening bid US $59,000, no bids 9 days left in auction, seller hilltop6955, 75k miles.

    Seller's description:
Hilltop Auto Stock #277 is a 1962, Series I, E-type fixed head coupe with the desirable 3.8 liter engine. This is a very early car being built in September of 1962 and it is a fully matching numbers car. Being originally from California tje car has a very dry body making this E-type an excellent candidate for restoration. The car's original color was Signal Red with a black interior. The car is complete except for the tools and the jack. It steers and rolls which makes it easy to transport.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
