Removed some photos and comments as the eBay auction they seemed to be from had the wrong car number.

Sold by Andre Nout Classic Cars of Dirksland in January 2024. Seller's description below.

For those who imagine what it would be like to own an E Type Series 1 Coupe restored to your wishes, we have found the perfect project. An original California Black plate, largely in its original paint with full matching numbers, engine, gearbox, body and paint colour. It has the 3.8 litre engine, aluminium dashboard with footwells and bucket seats; the most attractive specification.

It is rust free except for a spot under the battery box. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find good Series 1 project cars. Don't be misled by the appearance of this car, underneath the bare metal spots there is rock hard material never worked on before. There is a dent at the bottom of the hood, but this is easily fixed. The original colour combination, Bronze with a Tan interior, is beautiful, we wouldn't want to paint it any other colour!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
