Interestingly someone has posted this VIN J63888854 as the body number for car 1E1963. No way to know exactly what was intended or the source of either number. The J63xx number was most certainly a California car issued in '63 as they are the only market that used the J + year prefix. This is surely a valid VIN and the info at 1E1963 implies 888854 is alive and well in Denmark.

Hello Paul, why doesn't this guy react from Denmark and why isn't he in this data base?
I am looking for a car with body number V 6070, the VIN number?

Greetings Frank.

Frankie, I spent 5 minutes searching the database for you. Body V6070 is a June , July 1963 FHC and is not registered here in xkedata.com. Keep looking. John S

Thank you John, still looking for my car, restoring it now, but don't know if it was a 'donor' car or for scrap. Bought it 30 years ago, standing in the garage for that period with body nr. V6070. Can anybody tell me the chassis nr.?

Greetings Frankie.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
