I found this car in 1997, for sale in London. It was sitting in an old Lock up garage which a tramp had tried to set light to. The E had suffered Scorching to the left side, before the fire was put out . The car was Missing many parts includeing Engine Gearbox, Bonnet, Seats and i beleive the Rear axle. No History is known, (Athough a Heritage Cert Would Be Interesting) but i beleive that it was shipped to uk in the 90s? Car was very rot free and would make a great project . Alas someone beat me to it ! Car is still untouched.

I actually bought this car in Buda, Texas in August 1989 and returned it to the UK to restore it. The financial crisis of the early nineties forced me to sell it on. It was missing the bonnet when I bought it. The red seats were there as was the engine/head/gearbox and rear suspension. Pity someone savaged it. I would be interested in re-acquiring it, if it was for sale, and finishing the job.

Found a photo of the car the day I got it home from the UK Port of Entry. I was mistaken about the bonnet being missing. It was pretty complete and rarish in Black with red interior. Original paint too.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
