I have owned this car for 15 years. It has been restored to a nice driver. Original
black plate California car. Kept original color scheme. Build info and dates are from

I am the 5th owner of this coupe. It was purchased by Mrs. M. Samsel of Watsonville, Calif, sold to a Thomas Lockhart of Lodi, then to an unknown owner in Whitter, then to the guy I bought it from also in Whittier. The vehicle was in shabby, very dry, but running condition. I kept the original
color scheme. All numbers match except for the cylinder head. I have the original and will have it rebuilt/reinstalled next year.

    Hi Pat,
did you ever realize that your body no. is with 2 cars? The other one is 890334 and the number seems to fit better to its engine & gearbox no. Maybe some numbers have been swapped?

I've been watching this page from Lake County for years. The new work looks fantastic, thank you for keeping a piece of history on the road. Margaret Samsel was my wife's grandmother. This was my wife's uncle Bill's car. If you ever decide to sell, please contact me and maybe we can bring it back into the family. M. Jordan PO Box 266, Middletown CA 95461
