This 1973 Jaguar XKE is a Series III Roadster that is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 backed by a four-speed manual gearbox. The car was acquired by its current owner in 2012 and is finished in red with a tan convertible top and tan leather interior. Equipment includes air conditioning, Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, an aluminum radiator, and a quad-outlet exhaust. The car received carburetor rebuilds in November 2019, a replacement clutch slave cylinder and an oil change in June 2020, and new oil pressure senders in July 2020. This XKE is offered by the seller on behalf of its current owner with a service summary and a clean Virginia title.

The seller reports that the previous owner repainted the car in its original red due to fading in the previous finish. Equipment includes a replacement tan convertible top with a plastic rear window and chrome bumpers with federally-mandated impact bumper blocks.

Chrome wire wheels are fitted with older whitewall tires. The Series III featured larger disc brakes compared to the inline-six powered cars as well as revised suspension. Rebuilt rear brake calipers and a remanufactured steering rack were installed in 2015 along with new rear rotors, pads, hubs, wheel bearings, and track rod ends.

The interior has been reupholstered in tan leather with matching carpets. Close-up photos are provided of the seats, center console, and interior trim. An aftermarket CD stereo is fitted in the factory location.

The black dash features a tan leather upper pad, and the car is equipped with a factory steering wheel, air conditioning, and factory instrumentation. Approximately 46k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer, and according to the seller the seller the current owner has added about 250 miles during his ownership.

The 5.3-liter V12 was introduced for the 1971 model year and was factory-rated at 264 horsepower. Equipment includes quad Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and factory air cleaners as well as an aftermarket aluminum radiator. The seller notes corrosion on underhood surfaces. An included service summary shows carburetor rebuilds in November 2019, replacement of the clutch slave cylinder and an oil change in June 2020, and new oil pressure senders in July 2020.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. The differential was resealed in 2015, its gear oil was replaced and the chassis fittings lubricated in April 2019. A new exhaust hangar was installed in November 2019.
