This 1974 Jaguar E-Type V12 is a Series III roadster that is finished in Sable over Cinnamon upholstery and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a black convertible top and boot, 15″ knock-off wire wheels, air conditioning, a push-button radio, and a Bell stainless-steel exhaust system. The car was purchased by the seller in September 2000, and recent service is said to have included replacing the alternator, starter, and front brake components. This Series III E-Type is now offered with a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate, a repair manual, and Maine registration in the seller’s name.

The body was finished in Sable from the factory, and exterior equipment includes a black convertible top and top boot, chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, and dual central exhaust outlets. Aftermarket rear bumperettes are present, and imperfections, including chips, swirls, and cracks in the finish, are present.

Chromed 15″ wire-spoke wheels have knock-off centers and are mounted with older 215/75 Michelin XWX tires. The front brake rotors and pads were reportedly replaced in 2017.

The cabin features Cinnamon upholstery on the seats as well as matching door panels and a black dashboard and center console. The carpets and floor mats are replacements, and equipment includes air conditioning, an analog clock, and a British Leyland push-button radio.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while additional Smiths gauges are housed above the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 36k miles, approximately 13k of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.3-liter V12 features a PerTronix ignition system, single overhead camshafts for each cylinder bank, and four Zenith-Stromberg carburetors. Service in 2017 is reported to have included a coolant flush and replacing the alternator, starter, distributor cap, and ignition rotor.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. A Bell stainless-steel exhaust system is installed.

The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate lists factory colors and a build date of November 7, 1973.
