Ebay item 1/28/08
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-1974-Jaguar-E-Type-V12-Convertible-with-on ...
Current bid $1,000 reserve not met, 1 bid, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This beautiful E Type convertible is in excellent condition and has been restored to a high standard. It has only 57K original miles and runs and drives great! 1974 was the last year of production and is much sought after by collectors. This particular automobile is finished in a stylish Primrose over black leather and gets attention everywhere it goes. It is equipped with an upgraded 6 speed manual gearbox that provides for a much more comfortable ride at cruising speeds (The original 4 speed also comes with the car). Other options include air conditioning, factory wire wheels, leather interior, full instrumentation, a new soft top and much more! Mechanically this car is very sound with a strong and great running V12 engine mated to that smooth and silky 6 speed gearbox. Cosmetically it is stunning with an interior that shows almost no wear and paintwork that is bright and shiny with no nicks or scratches of any kind. Not a show car but pretty darn close! It has a new Virginia safety inspection and is ready for its next lucky owner!

Opening bid $20,000 reserve not met, no bids yet 6 days left in auction. Buy it now price $67,900. Car now said to be in Capistrano Beach, California. 57k miles.

Sellers description:
Series III Roadster finished in original Primrose yellow over black leather. Full body-off restoration less than 5000 miles ago including drivetrain, wool, canvas and chrome. One of the few cars with the rare four pipe exhaust system. This may be the best Series III in existence and has been the jewel of my collection. With great reluctance, I am selling this last car as I head toward retirement. The vehicle is currently equipped with a Richmond six-speed transmission for modern day driving comfort and the original four-speed is crated and will be shipped with the car. This car will not disappoint the collector, driving-enthusiast or both. Hopefully, this car will find an owner who will appreciate the beauty and power of such a wonderful machine.
