Ebay item 9/25/07
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-Roadster-1965-Jaguar-E-Type-Convertible-Lo ...
Current bid $9,100 reserve not met, 14 bids, 4 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This is a beautiful one-owner vehicle that has truly been well maintained. The vehicle has been garage-kept since it was purchased in 1966. The vehicle has been restored to brand new over the last 3-5 years. In 2005, both the 4.2L engine, and the 4-speed transmissions were rebuilt (all receipts included). The car was also repainted in 2005. In total, the restoration adds to over $84,000! ($84,258.67 exactly!) Nearly everything in the car has been restored. Each restored and repaired item has been documented (ENDLESS RECEIPTS). The vehicle has also been appraised (included in pictures) and graded by the "Auto Appraisal Group." It has been adult driven and limited to under 40,000 over 40 years! However, only a few hundred miles have been put on the rebuilt engine! Everything in the car has been restored. All carpets have been replaced along with the original radio (the car includes an aftermarket sound system). The convertible top had also been replaced in 2005. Other notable replaced items include: leather upholstery, tachometer, brakes, steering wheel column, suspension, radiator, pistons, mirrors, water pump, and oil pan. EVERY LITTLE THING HAS BEEN REPLACED... CAR LOOKS AND DRIVES NEW!
