I purchased this car from Classic Showcase in Oceanside, California in January 2019. The car is going to be restored back to Show/Driver condition. The prior long term owner began the restoration in 1986 but did not complete it and sold the car in its disassembled status. The car was originally sold through Peter Lindner in Frankfurt, Germany so my guess is that it was probably sold to someone in the US Military because there we a large American presence in Frankfurt at that time. If anyone has any history on this particular car I would appreciate the information.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
