Ebay item 4/15/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-/191559547990
Current bid US $11,211.00
Reserve not met 5 bids 9 days left in auction, buy it now price $92,500. 46k miles.

Sellers description:
Just in this fully matching number, 4.2 Liter, Series I, XKE roadster. This car came from the estate of a gentleman in Ohio. He had this E-type stored in his garage for 30 years. We just changed the oil and the filter. We also replaced the spark plugs, the spark plug wires, the points, the rotor and the distributor cap. With an auxiliary tank of gas the car started right up. We recommend replacing the gasoline that is in the fuel tank presently. The clutch slave cylinder was replaced and the car goes into gear and drives. The brakes will need going through. The original color of the car was in Opalescent Dark Green with the Suede Green interior. At least 30 years ago, the car was painted it in this "lovely" Lime Green color and it can be yours at "no extra charge". The interior of the car is in very nice useable condition. The seats have some patina, but still have a lot of life still left in them. The Tripex glass from new is even still in the car. The only thing we can find missing are the tools and the spare tire, but the spare wheel is still with the car. With very little work you could be driving around this summer in this truly 60's, eye catching color, E-type roadster."

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
