This is the third E Type I have owned.
I bought it in 2005 from Eagle (Henry Pearman) as a rolling restoration project. The car was owned by Paul Webb - the car was originally from California and was in amazing condition when I stripped all the paint using a hot air gun.
The car was extensively modified by me using Eagle upgrades and I eventually completed the build in April 2007.
I used the car for 3 years touring Europe and covered 15k miles - it was the nicest E Type I have ever owner - the paint was flawless - thanks to Andy Sharp and Dean Bennet of Eagle - it drew crowds at Monaco embarrassing the Lambo and Ferrari owners and drove faultlessly - another testament to using these cars rather than 'hiding' them away.
I sold the car in 2010 and it now lives in/near London and is regularly used and rallied!
I had added loads of photos of the rebuild and finished result.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
