Seller’s Description: 1966 Jaguar E-Type Roadster. Stored 34 years. European delivery to German importer Peter Lindner. Because of this, the car has a rare locking steering wheel and amber turn signal lenses. Rebuilt Matching Numbers Engine with less than 50 miles since rebuild. New clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing. Cam covers and carb tops polished to show standards. Mechanical oil pressure guage, Spin on oil filter. High speed fan. Headers with low restriction mufflers and Ansa quad exhaust tips. Original manifolds included. Steering Wheel polished to show and wood restored. Rechromed Bumpers. All floors and trunk bottom replaced with Martin Robey panels as original to Jaguar. New trunk kit, Thor hammer, Excellent factory workshop manual, new owners manual, and original boot cover in very good condition. Originally Opalescent Silver dispatched on 3/22/66. Car runs and drives well. Brakes will need attention as they have to be pumped. Car is 98% solid. Needs some body work, paint, and some interior work. Beautiful Original Opalescent Silver when finished or drive as is.
