Lot # 612 1966 Jaguar XKE SI 4.2 Roadster; S/N 1E12753; Engine # 7E8112-9; Black/Black leather; Black cloth top; Visually maintained, largely original, 3 condition; Hammered Sold at $87,500 plus commission of 10.00%; Final Price $96,250 - Chrome wire wheels, narrow whitewalls, Pioneer cassette, luggage rack, dual outside mirrors. - Sound repaint over old paint, good older upholstery. Wheel wells painted over old undercoat. Some rusty chrome trim. Top of the engine is spiffy but the rest is old, superficially dressed up and dirty. Top boot and frame are aged and dirty. Not reassuring for the things that aren't seen. - This is a superior price for a mediocre XKE.

Matching Numbers 1966 Jaguar with Heritage Certificate.
This 1966 E Type has just had a lot of work done including a body off paint job in the original Pale Primrose Yellow and New Black Leather upholstery from England. The rear end and brakes were just rebuilt. The Jag was completely dismantled before being painted. Mileage is believed to be accurate at 76,140 miles. She runs and drives great as you can see from the videos linked below (I am not yet used to driving the jag so please excuse my poor shifting abilities in the video...it is me, not the car).
I purchased this E Type from Hyman Ltd. in Oct 2014 for 139K and have put another $92K into it ... She is beautiful! I hate to sell her but I must ... price is set at $149K for a quick sale.
