A very Solid, Matching Number Series 1 Etype OTS. The Dark Opalescent Green is a very desirable color and the car still retains most of its original interior, this car runs and drives very good, the engine has very good oil pressure, brand new stainless exhaust and the car shifts, drives, and tracks as it should.

The selling private party that we purchased the car from was a friend of our family for years, and he owned this car since the early 70s, he bought the car when it was only 4 or 5 years old. In the more current years he explained to us that he had replaced the head gasket, and redid the cylinder head with new valves and rebuilt the carburetors. He also put a new clutch and pressure plate during the last 5 years. He claimed that the car has remained the same as he bought it many years ago, he used it every season to keep it exercised and it shows, it runs great!

In order to Verify, we took the time to remove the transmission tunnel and check the gearbox number and it is the original Transmission, original engine , head and all tags are correct. This car has presently 72,850 miles on it.

Our shop put a new top on the car and removed the original top because the rear window was split and very hard and not flexible.

This car still had the original top and has all the original chrome on it.

The wheels are too good to be original so we suppose that they were replaced at least once in the life of the car.

It is obvious that the car was painted over at least once, the paint is cracked in most panels and although it looks good in some of these pictures, depending on your purpose

you may need to respray the car. But that can be done any time now or later.

What is important is that the series 1 e-types are getting bought up, there are not many survivors left.

This car is much nicer than most of the survivors we find, and that is why we are torn between restoring the whole car, or selling it like it is a very good original car with great story and history.

In addition to the new correct soft top we installed, and the new stainless exhaust system. We also replaced all the fluids in the car, we did a 100 pt safety check on the car and we went through all the lights, the electricals the tune up items and we freshened up all the serviceable items.

This is a great car, a Connecticut car and was registered to the same owner for many years. If you want a series 1 car.. and do not want to pay 190k to buy one this is the car to buy. It will always appreciate and it will always be usable and fun in the meantime.
