Listed for sale at www.driversource.com. "Great preservation - Previous long term ownership. Desirable closed headlight Series 1 4.2L. Wonderful driver. Highly equipped and remarkably original. Wearing red paintwork over black upholstery and black Robbins top this particular roadster received a full frame-off restoration in 1989 and today remains a great driver with an honest chassis and strong mechanicals. The paint and brightwork reflect a very well maintained finish along with the black leather interior, additional Amco floor mats and original glass. The Jaguar runs, drives and handles nicely with no notable issues. Both bays are very tidy and in great condition as well. Very rare final batch Michelin Red Lines complete the chrome wire wheels. A photo album documenting the entire restoration accompanies." Asking $79,500

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
