This 1967 Jaguar XKE Series 1.5 is a disassembled project that includes a chassis and multiple replacement body panels along with two 4.2-liter straight-six engines, three Weber DCOE carburetors, a Warneford inlet manifold, a transmission, six wire wheels, gauges and interior components, and a cache of suspension, brake, engine, steering, and trim pieces. The seller acquired the car as a project in 1983 and assembled the parts collection over the next year before storing it all in late 1984. This project Jaguar and parts collection is now offered at no reserve in Texas with a Colorado Motor Vehicle Salvage Receipt.
The seller disassembled the car in the mid-1980s and subsequently had the chassis chemical dipped and then primed. The fuel tank was also refurbished and sealed at that time.
Replacement body and floor panels are included as are Mark 1.5 and 2 bonnets.
Six knock-off wire wheels are included and the seller notes broken spokes on one of them.
Two vinyl-trimmed dashboards with instruments and harnesses are included, though one is missing the speedometer and tachometer.
Two 4.2-liter inline-six engines are included, one of which is equipped with a gold-painted cylinder head and polished cam covers.
The second engine is missing its camshafts and is equipped with finned cam covers.
A Warneford Design inlet manifold and three Italian-made Weber DCOE carburetors are also part of the sale.
A four-speed manual transmission is included along with a rear differential.
The seller notes that the parts collection also contains:
Intake manifolds
Zenith and SU carburetors
Alternators
Starters
Water pumps
Exhaust manifolds
Timing chain covers
Valve covers
Steering columns
Rack and pinion
Clutches
Radiators
Blower plenums
A pedal quadrant
